Yes, anyone CAN do taxes... but that doesn't mean you should. Misinformation and misconceptions are in high supply. We spend hours each year learning all the new rules and the exceptions to those rules. Congress likes to change it up, often right before tax season or (our favorite) retroactively, just to keep us on our toes. Tax Planning note- Do not wait until Christmas Eve to think about tax planning! Once the New Year's Eve ball drops, we lose the ability to use many options to save you money on tax liabilities. Also, the office is closed from Christmas to New Years each year.
